One year on and Sponsor a Verse to be launched!

Updated: Dec 4, 2020

After a whole year of pondering, preparing and a little procrastinating finally Sponsor a Verse has arrived! Official launch date 6th Nov 2020. Save the date!

In July 2019, the 'Sponsor a Verse' idea was birthed out a prayer request at a small Connect Group attended by UK CEO, Daniel Davies.

The idea came as an immediate answer to prayer (for more info read our blog on a prayer answered), for how to fundraise for this brilliant charity. The idea aimed to give people the chance to directly participate in the translation of the Bible in a remote people-group language and to bless the donor with an image of the verse they had sponsored to be translated - in both English and the language.

It's been a challenging year to get this ready for launch, with many hurdles to overcome and much prayer. However, a date has been set, so no stopping now! This time next week; 6th Nov 2020, 40 popular verse images in the Lughuru Language will go live on sponsoraverse.org ready to be sponsored. Click here to find out more about the Lughuru People. Be sure to save the date and act quickly to grab your favourite verse. See below for a list of some of the verses that will be available at launch. If you miss out or don't see your favourite, don't worry, more are on their way. Subscribe to our mailing list to stay up to date with new verse images as they become available. So you don't miss out!
